The Window Art offices are abuzz with activity as we gear up to show off our wares at Decorex Joburg 2015. We are extremely excited to be taking part in this lavish exhibition. This year Decorex has chosen the theme ‘Home of Great Ideas’ and considering the key features on offer we think this year it may just house some of the greatest interior design, décor and lifestyle ideas ever.
Decorex 2015 has made it their mission to inspire their visitors and participants with every single one of their exhibitions, but this year they promise to offer up more inspiration and creativity than ever before.
Here are the key feature areas that are set to astound the crowds:
Patron of Decorex, Stephen Falcke
Stephen Falcke is world famous for his awe-inspired interiors. Every year at Decorex this master designer ups the ante and this year you can watch him in action in his specially created installation.
Private Property Trend House
The Private Property Trend House will be showcasing an office, main bedroom decorated by Décor Identity and a beautiful Geberit en-suite bathroom to boot. It will also have a fully fitted OPPEIN Home open-plan kitchen and a dining room with American Shutter doors that lead to a lounge and patio. The Private Property team will be on hand with the most up-to-date facts and figures available to advise you on finding your dream home.
Delicious and decadent treats
The Graham Beck Wine Bar is a true indulgence where you can kick back in between your exploration of the expo. Home Fabrics has created a champagne parlour in pinks, corals and crimsons where cheese and salmon platters can be enjoyed with a glass of Graham Beck bubbles or wine. Alternatively, head to The Sprada Café for a delicious cup of joe and a quick bit to eat. At the Consol Gourmet Food Market you can enjoy a variety and delicious and nutritious meals.
Designer Spotlight
Home Fabrics will be featuring more of their luxurious materials and offer wallpaper expertise in the Designer Spotlight feature area. This feature area will showcase Kirsten Di Clemente from State of Interiors who has been specifically selected to reveal her designer talents in this dedicated space.
Spotlight on Talent
Decorex SA has a commitment to CSI and has this year collaborated with Inscape Education Group to present the Spotlight on Talent showcase. Three of Inscape’s top students have been given the opportunity to showcase their talents and find out if their products are suitable to their target market.
Plascon 2016 Colour Forecast
Every year Plascon gives the Decorex visitors and participants a look at the brand new Plascon Colour Forecast. The 2016 Colour Forecast is ready to be revealed and the new trends are set to wow the crowds.
The Dining & Entertaining Theatre
The Kitchen Trend Feature will showcase all the latest and greatest kitchen trends, new tech-savvy appliances and swanky products. This year four unique kitchens will be created by top designers and The Dining & Entertaining Theatre will be providing cooking demos by a variety of our best local chefs. The Dining & Entertaining Theatre is sponsored by Kitchen Frontiers and together with the cooking demos there will be a series of interactive styling and table-décor sessions.
Beautiful boudoirs
There will be a hall that is dedicated to slumber and rest. Beautiful Bedrooms offer up bedroom design ideas and in this area you can find some of the trendiest bathroom ideas too.
Builders DIY Theatre
Builders DIY Theatre will be back this year at Decorex 2015 and once again it will be packed with useful tips and tricks for all DIY enthusiasts.
We have tried to list all the feature areas for you to look forward, but of course the exhibition will be packed with many more nooks and crannies filled with design and décor delights. We plan to make our little exhibition stand at Decorex an exciting hotspot where we can show you some of our latest installations, some of the bespoke designs we have created for our clients and introduce our new glass art product that we are most proud of.
