This installation is one that we found rather intriguing. The barcode design shown on the shower doors in this bathroom is a unique design and our graphic designers worked closely with this client to perfect the code and really give it a look of authenticity.
The client was looking for an artistic take on his privacy needs.
The design of the bathroom is very modern, sporting clean lines, highly polished chrome fixtures and lots of mirrors. The client wanted frosted vinyl decals on the shower doors for optimum privacy and to suit the clean, minimalist setting of this bathroom.
The client explained that he enjoyed modern art. As such, he wanted to frost his shower doors with vinyl art.
This client was deterred from decorative sandblasting as a vinyl art solution due to the transparency of the glass when wet.
The client had looked into the idea of decorative sandblasting. However, he was concerned about the glass becoming transparent when wet. Frosted vinyl decals do not become transparent when wet, so the client’s concerns were immediately abated.
The application of vinyl art decals takes place on-site and can be completed within an afternoon.
This bathroom had only recently been renovated, so the client was pleased to find out that the application of vinyl art doesn’t require the shower doors to be removed and then reinstalled.
