Job of the week: a new frosted vinyl design for a new business venture | WindowArt

The installation shown above is an example of custom designed frosted vinyl decal that we created at the client’s specific request.

Frosted vinyl can include any design you like.

The client resides on a farm in the Western Cape. Being an estate agent by trade and having left his company in the city to move to the farm, he decided to open up his own agency focused on the agricultural land in the surrounding area. In doing so he renovated one of the storage facilities near the main farmhouse into office space. The image above is of one of the two doors used as entry and exit to the office. This windmill design was the client’s idea and has been used on both doors.

The client was insistent on a bespoke design that was simple and would resonate with his potential clientele. He felt that the windmill was apt as it is part and parcel of what we all expect to see when we leave the city. The windmill design is unfussy and perfect for such a small pane of glass.

Frosted vinyl is easy to clean, does not need any maintenance and won’t block out natural light.

The client wanted to make full use of the natural light and therefore chose to use glass in the doors. He also wanted privacy though, due to the private nature of the business he would be conducting with his clients in this environment. Frosted vinyl was the best choice to achieve both ideals. As he would be inviting many potential buyers and sellers into this office space, the client designed his entire office to be low-maintenance, easy to clean and comfortable. Frosted vinyl meets all of these demands.

Frosted vinyl is temporary and can therefore be changed to suit your needs.

Due to this client’s business venture being a brand new enterprise, the client was still in the process of designing his website and logo. It appealed to him that the frosted vinyl decal was temporary and that once his logo design was complete he could call us up to create frosted vinyl using the logo as the design element.
