Frequently Asked Tinting Questions
Do you tint car windows?
Window Art tinting is a specialized tinting for building grade glass such as windows and doors. This tinting is unfortunately not suitable for car windows.
Do you only have one colour available?
Tinting is available in various colour options and densities.
Is the tinting only for office buildings?
Window Art offers a wide range
of tinting for both commercial and residential buildings.
Does tinting offer privacy at night as well?
Tinting is a light activated privacy film. The side of the tinting where light is brightest is the side where the view gets blocked/impacted.
Once the lights inside turn on at night the one-way privacy effect gets reversed.
What is the difference between a “mirror” effect and “reflective” tinting?
“Mirror” effect tinting has a higher density and thus has the same effect as having one-way mirror glass installed, where “reflective” tinting has a lower density thus allowing a bit more light through and not reflecting light to the same degree..
Can I have tinting installed with a design?
Designs cannot be cut from tinting in the same way as other vinyl materials. A design can be added using a different vinyl installed over the tinting.
Does the removal of tinting damage my glass?
The removal process of tinting is the same as with vinyl frosting and will not leave damage to the glass.
