Our featured installation this week showcases beautiful glass door designs that have been created specifically for a luxury guesthouse. This guesthouse sees many foreigners through its doors during the festive season and the rest of the year it plays host to many corporate events as it offers conference facilities. The owners of the guesthouse wanted to include interior décor that represented the sophistication of the property.
The frosted glass was designed to the taste of the owners.
The glass door designs shown in the image above were created through a collaboration of the owners and our graphic designers. Window Art is able to create any design for our clients and the owners of this guesthouse made use of this service so as to ensure that they were entirely satisfied with the end product.
Privacy was a priority and the frosted glass gave the owners the privacy they required.
Glass door designs such as these are predominantly frosted, providing the front door entryway with ample privacy. Considering the guesthouse sees many business people through its doors, privacy was a priority and the frosting on these glass door designs met this need.
By using glass door designs, the owners were able to illuminate an otherwise very dark area.
The guesthouse is a double-storey property and the entryway (as shown in the image above) is shaded by the shadow on the first floor. This has resulted in the entryway being darker than the owners would like. By using frosted glass door designs, the light that is present is allowed to penetrate through to the entry hall, which then makes for a more illuminated area.
